Internship

Intern with WEP – gain valuable leadership experience, expand your network, lauch your career and feel full-filled in the process. WEP is a start-up, grassroots organization. Working here will expose you to all facets of management ranging from marketing to finance to building and leading teams. Interns will work directly with our director and will have access to the board and WEP network. This is great exposure for college students or pre-grad school students who want to get involved with the community. WEP internships can be broadly classified into three types: 1. Program Development: Bring your energy and ideas to develop one of our programs like the Cicle of Light ($21 a month program). Work involves creating markerting materials, developing the vision and strategy for the program, coordinating with the ambassador team and executing on the plan to reach targets. 2. Fundraising Associate: Help us raise money to educate young women in India! Review and improve our current fundraising channels. Coordinate with different event committees to offer fundraising insights. Develop fundraising programs for running team, set-up information sessions with corporations and local organizations for sponsorship. 3. Event Coordinator: Throw yourself into a champagne tasting or laugh out loud at our comedy events. WEP events provide a platform for WEP friends & family to meet, network and have fun while supporting a great cause.
